《Reflections》

Listening eagerly to the words that the other had to say, Aqua took in every bit of info. However, her nerves slightly clouded her mind; there was something about it all that made her feel as if she didn’t belong. Most likely the fact that her true age was well over the university students swarming around Radiant Garden, but her age was something she never revealed. Her body kept up the appearance of a 19-year-old, and she would just play along.
《Ah, I’m not enrolled in the school here - I just happen to live nearby. But from what you’re telling me, you’ve got a lot on your shoulders. I’m thinking you need this excursion more than I do, 》 Teasing Laguna slightly, Aqua gave him a mischievous smirk before catching up to his pace. Curiosity got the best of her, and the wielder was piqued as to know more about the man. He was certainly more than interesting enough to get her attention, so Aqua would give him her time. All the while, she was semi-coaching herself mentally to keep her cool. From past experiences, she knew better than to open up about her past. Pretending to be a normal girl would be the best option, without a doubt.
At the hand that was offered, cobalt eyes glanced over to Laguna in hesitation. It shocked her in the slightest as to how someone could be so welcoming and so full of energy as Laguna was. Aqua hypothesized that he could be content as long as it meant bringing a smile to another’s face, if it was true about him acting towards goodwill. Nevertheless, she lithely gave the male her hand. It wasn’t the smoothest or daintiest hand—her entire life she trained with magic and keyblades, so callous digits and scars were many a landmark on her palms. Aqua tried not to think to much about it, and instead, focused on the conversation as Laguna led the way.
《When exactly is the festival? I’m kinda curious to see what it’s like.》 Finding herself piqued by the topic, Aqua was curious about what it was like. She wouldn’t admit she had yet to go to one, but her mind was simply eager to see what the whole event was like.
Laguna babbled on and on while him and Aqua were on their way to the restaurant resting on top of the slope hill. He’s starting to like Aqua, even though she’s a bit shy and quiet. Probably because not only she had a long day, but there was something that was bothering her? “Well, ya look like you needed some "extension” yourself too, Aqs.“, he laughed, fixing the strap of the shoulder bag. He panicked, realizing that he messed up a word. He was always corrected by Kiros and Ward, especially when he says the wrong word during his practice for acting test. No wonder he’s a failure. He couldn’t be a great actor soon. "I-I mean, excursion. Yeah, excursion. This festival will actually be better than all the years that the town has prepared. It’s crazy, but we are one of ‘em. Ya know?"
He smiled at the blue lady, his jaded eyes shining to her. "It’s tomorrow, actually.”, he answered, his hand was beginning to sweat while holding her hand. “H-Hey, Aqs! I’m kinda wondering. D-Do you wanna go to the festival with me tomorrow? I-I mean, if you’re kinda busy, then that’s alright. It’s gonna be huge, after the hard work we’ve done.”
He gasped as he saw the sign of the restaurant in front of him. It’s a small two-storey golden house with some green borders on the side. The sign says it all. It’s a garden of seas restaurant. 'Hmmmm… I bet it’s cheap here. Have to save my money for the festival tomorrow.’, he thought. “W-We’re here, Aqs. This place looks actually fancy! Let’s go inside!”
