In her exhaustion and fatigue, the woman didn’t even realize she bumped into someone until a voice called out. It broke her out of her zombie-like state and had reality knocking at her door. It took a moment for Aqua to take in the man, and then see that he was holding her Wayfinder. At first, panic set in, but when the words he said echoed in her mind, her heart settled, with her anxiety put to rest.
《Oh! I’m so sorry! I wasn’t looking where I was going! I apologize!》Profuse sorry’s and excuses were made, although Aqua clearly wasn’t the one piloting her own ship at the time. 《I was out of it, and didn’t even see you! And my Wayfinder!》Her response was delayed with her just realizing it was in his hand. 《This is truly embarrassing—I’m so sorry!》
Practically red in the face alone just from speaking in a blur, the humiliating incident furthered that scarlet on her cheeks. Well, at least she got a wake-up call.
He started to ran to her, the blue star-shaped pendant in his hand while clutching his strap of his shoulder bag in the other. Laguna stopped in front of her, bending his knees a bit and panted softly. ‘Oh man, she’s pretty! Give her back the star pendant! Don’t be a douche, Laguna. Don’t be a total douche!’, he thought as he stood straight and handed her the pendant.
“Ah, it’s alright, Ma'am. Ya don’t need to apologize.”, he chuckled, scratched his head with his hand and the other on his hip. “Try makin’ some props for the festival this weekend. Haven’t had any lunchbreak for me and– wait, a Wayfinder? That’s pretty rare! My friend, Ward, told me about this.” He smiled at her, crossing his arms on his chest. “He got some shells from his vacation at the beach. Forgot the name, but he’s gonna make 'em after the festival and–”, he stopped, chuckling nervously.
“Sorry, Ma'am. I-I, uh… I talk too much. H-Hope I don’t bother you or anythin’. It’s been a long day. Well, have a great night!”, he waved to her and started walking to the restaurant, but he had a change of heart, so he stopped and turned around. “Uh… you look kinda tired, but there’s this new restaurant over there. I was kinda wonderin’ if you wanna, um, come with me and we can have a talk?" 'Focus, Laguna. Focus!’
